Pyramid Solitaire is a fun solitaire game, with a very distinctive opening tableua in the shape of a pyramid. There is a large element of luck involved, but there are certain strategies that can be used to dramatically increase your chances of winning.
The aim of pyramid solitaire is to remove all the cards from the tableua and the talon. Cards are removed in pairs, when their combined total is 13. The exception to this is with Kings, which are removed on their own.
Cards can only be removed when they are completely exposed (ie: When the whole card is visible, with no cards above them)
The combinations of cards you can remove are:
-Ace and Queen
-2 and Jack
-3 and 10
-4 and 9
-5 and 8
-6 and 7
-King
Whilst the rules for pyramid solitaire are quite easy to understand, the game itself offers come interesting complexities. You have to plan out which cards to remove to maximize potential options later in the game. Sometimes you must leave a card for later in the game, or you will create an impasse. And sometimes you have to carefully remember the order of the cards in the talon, or you will have cards left over at the end.
At the start of the game, scan the first four rows, looking for any situations that will make the game impossible to complete. This happens when all the cards that can be combined with a card occur in the triangle below it.
This occurs because a card cannot be selected until all the cards in the triangle below it are removed ceme online first.
For example, suppose part of the deal was like this (Taken from Classic Solitaire deal 20064)
. . . 2 . . .
. . J . 8 . .
. Q . J . 8 .
6 . J . 4 . J
All of the Jacks occur in the triangle below the top 2. So to expose the top 2, all the Jacks will have to be removed first… But that’s impossible, because the Jacks can only be removed in combination with the 2’s. We will be able to remove three of the Jacks, but we cant ever remove the top Jack, because the 2 it needs is above it.
So if the four combination cards appear in a cards underneath triangle, then the game cannot be finished, and you may as well redeal.
If only three of the combination cards appear in the underneath triangle, then you have discovered a potential impasse later on. Wherever that fourth combination card is, it MUST be combined with the top card. So, if the fourth combination card is in the talon, you must remember this, and be careful not to use it on any card other than the top one.
Another impasse to check for at the beginning, is to see if all the combination cards appear in the triangle above a card.
For example, suppose the deal was like this (Taken from Classic Solitaire deal 3841)
. . . . . . 7 . . . . . .
. . . . . 8 . J . . . . . .
. . . . 4 . 2 . 4 . . . . .
. . . A . 6 . 8 . 2 . . .
. . 8 . 5 . 9 . Q . 2 . .
. 7 . 8 . 9 . 7 . K . 4 .
K . A . 5 . 3 . Q . 6 . 10
All the 8’s occur in the triangle above the bottom 5, so the game cannot be finished.
This last case doesn’t occur very often though, so it isn’t worth spending too much time checking for it. Just a cursory glance at the middle 3 cards on the bottom row is normally enough.
So to summarize, before we have even started playing, we check to see if the game is winnable (Make sure there are no cases where the four combination cards occur in the triangle below or above a card). We also check for times when three of the combination cards appear below… as these will need special attention, to make sure we don’t waste the fourth card and create an impasse.
So what about general play?
Well, to start with, always remove Kings whenever you can. There is absolutely no reason not to remove the Kings, because they aren’t used in combination with any other cards, so you gain nothing by waiting.
Another thing to consider is that often there is no need to rush. You can cycle through the talon three times, so often it will be better to wait and see what cards are remaining, rather than jump in and remove a combination as soon as you can.
Finally, try and remove cards evenly between the talon and the tableua. Ideally, you want to finish removing cards from the tableua at the same time as the talon is used up.
You still wont be able to win every game of pyramid solitaire with the above strategy, but you should find your probability of winning has greatly increased.
If I asked you this, would you believe me? Try doing so, because its the truth. And also, in this strange and perverse world, young people are busy killing each other at an alarming rate. Do we really need something like a pseudo Mafia causing the same sorts of problems? Gangsterism, in other words, on our childrens beloved video games?
According to Wikipedia, the Webs foremost online encyclopedia, ever since 9/11 the FBI hasnt had much in time or resources to handle organized crime, and there has been a sudden resurgence in its activities.
Right now, the online game The Sims Online– which is labeled a T for Teens game — has been overrun by several obviously Mafia named families. These people dont seem to have enough imagination to be Mexican Mafia, Chinese Mafia or Japanese Mafia (yet), which also exist in real life. They are very aggressive and very obvious.
Whether or not they are the real Mafia is a question which I cannot answer. They may be a bunch of errant teenage boys and girls but ones with some very eclectic adult tastes and also many violent and weird high tech tendencies. You should see the Playboy style icons they paste on top of their houses from certain views of the TSO video game.
And one thing these kids, if they are kids, really do, even though it is to virtual and not real houses: they trash peoples paid-for beautiful properties. The kind of properties that people would like to build, taking a lifetime to achieve. Beautiful, sprawling mansions you cant own in real life, the kind that are totally out of reach for the vast majority of people. And no one could tell if it was part of the game, or something far worse.
I am so tired, I dont know. Values are very hard to gauge in life, anyway.
To green up on The Sims Online at all, or to keep your simulated character going, you must do interactions that are similar to having sex with animals (wrestle with your dog, but you should see what it looks like if you really see it) and thats bad enough, but rather bearable. Sigmund Freud would have told us that such behavior is relatively normal, that having an orgy session involving heavy petting with your own puppy where it loves you and licks your face and you are all over each other, is fun. Also, there is sexy dancing, heavy kissing and hugging, and so forth, which works for most people — including twelve year old kids. This is done with your fellow characters, real life people in the game whom you can become acquainted with, work with, and even marry. The marriages are not legal of course, and tend to dissolve fairly quickly.
Meanwhile, your town is crawling with De Corleoni Territori, the Italian Mafia Empire, The Vito Family Territory and so forth. I am not talking Anti-Italian Defamation. I had several Italian friends on the game, whom I am now stuck missing in my daily life. I am talking about a bunch of people either acting like the Mafia, or worse yet, actually being connected with them somehow and taking over a childrens video game. Possibly, several childrens video games. Or were they involved in the first place, and is Maxis a Mafia held game company? Look at the names.
Maxis, Mafia. Why doesnt Entertainment Arts do something about the house trashing problem, for example, even though people have repeatedly complained about it? What is it exactly that they are trying to hide? Apparently not much; you can easily find the Mob everywhere on that game. And their version of the cops does absolutely nothing at all. Meanwhile, I have talked to Maxis, and they have repeatedly claimed we are taking care of the problem.
The game is labeled T for Teens and is connected with what looks like some harmless fake gambling. The money being exchanged seems to be Simoleans at first. Fake money, which you get by working at odd jobs on the game, and you may also acquire skills so you can make more of the fake money. But there are payoffs, and you can also buy blocks of the money on EBay, roughly $15-25 for 1 idn poker million Simoleans. I heard of one lady who blew thousands of real life dollars on this. Its possible that the teenagers who are playing it are making money from performing vaguely illicit sexual acts on this game for real money.
Is this what you want your teenager to be doing? For 6-10 hours a day, five-seven days a week? Eventually, obviously, after I spent about a month on the game, it was so that the money was swiftly turning real.
Okay, video addiction is bad enough, but were talking about Organized Crime here as well. Remember a little place called Columbine High School? What if theres some sort of eerie connection to that sort of business? I had to join this game to find out, kind of as a lark, but I did some real exploring too.
And the Mafia is in and roughly controlling every town that Ive visited on The Sims Online, and Ive reasonably checked them all over. Dans Grove, Jolly Pines, Blazing Falls, Alphaville. The Mafia iseverywhere.
I have talked to these Mafia gentlemen and ladies, and visited their houses. They dont have very much to do at them but the usual Sims stuff. Im afraid they have discovered game cheats and, being bored, are using them to destroy other game players properties. And yes, I have evidence, not hard unfortunately, that they have watched people play the game from a distance. One of them knew about something he shouldnt have known. And another friend of mine who regularly plays video games has noticed these tendencies toward having strange game powers that other players dont have in yet other video games. He says its pretty common. Hackers, he calls it, but in the TSO case, its hitting a little too close to home.
For example, a gay bashing was set up right in front of me. I rode it out, but I had to comfort the gay being bashed. Of course, it was his simulated character, not he who was hurt. TSO is real people playing games. Im not gay, but it was getting a little peculiar that such stuff is allowable on a T for Teens video game. I was more than a little confused.
A lady in fun fired a game Civil War cannon at me, in private, and this Mafia guy named Riccardo knew that it had happened. I dont think she told him about it. How did he know? She did it just for laughs, and it was a harmless game event (I peed my pants as the game character, and it seemed okay), but its not very funny that he knew about it. I didnt exactly care, and it was sort of humorous. He couldnt have known about it unless hed seen it happen, in all probability. And he wasnt anywhere on the property or onscreen at the time. He had a private view of it going on.
The same Mafia dude, who kept denying he was Mafia — while dressed in an obvious game-style Mafia suit and with the name Riccardo — also told me you cant trash houses unless youre a roommate or the home owner. This should indeed be the case; it involves building permissions. But one of the house trashing victims had no roommates whatsoever. And she wasnt motivated to trash her houseno insurance money is involved.
Game players on this game can be quite friendly. I made a lot of good friends doing things like making pizzas, opening up my own skills house business, doing minor gambling (legal for adults and Im over 40) and in general — partying. You can play high tech, beautiful looking musical instruments and feel like youre there. Its a great game. You should see some of the wild and crazy characters on this game! Or should you?
Except that I cant play it anymore. I quit the game solely because of the
extremely heavy Mafia presence that was starting to visit my house and breathe hotly down my neck. That, and the game was cutting into my work routine as a full-time writer quite a little bit, too.
First, Riccardo showed up. Out of nowhere, after I had used the Maxis device to screen all apparent Mafia members out of my house. He showed up at my house. The same day my friends house was trashed. It was the second such trashing since I had started playing there. Obvious Mafia guy, obviously scouting me. Denied everything completely. This was after two of my friends houses had been trashed.
Want to know anything about terrorism? Now I know what it is. A little too thoroughly for my tastes. The Mob was making it obvious that I could be next. Why is that exactly? And what sort of next would it bereal, or simulated game activity? These people looked capable of tracking down my actual computers IP address, my ISP — and finally, my real life house.
And all I could do was flee. I quit playing the game for good. I dont feel much like a serious game player after that. I feel rather like an inebriated cipher.
Yeah, theyre just a bunch of teenagers who like to trash houses Theyre not the real Mafia, theyre just kids. I heard a lot of that from people both on and off the game, even my fellow writers. Harmless kids.
Like the ones at Columbine? That bunch even called themselves The Trench Coat Mafia. Whats with this strange fascination of teenage kids with the Mob? Does gangsta rap, or something even worse, have anything to do with it?
The Sims Online is conceivably the haven for a slinking beast with no better name than the Neo Mafia: My New Family. And for the last time, if youre Italian, I am not picking on you. Im worried about you instead. And do you need to be affiliated with these mysterious strangers, who maybe think all organized crime is still from Italy? Are you, like me, a parent? Ma fia? Neo ma fia
Yes, parents, that is what it means in Italian-American. My new family. Still feel comfortable with the concept?
Trust me. Im only Italian. Im not a Mafia member. You must be a bigot. Its because my skin is brown. Yadayadayaday. You can be whatever skin color you want to be on TSO, and either sex for that matter. Everybody kept going, Its only kids, calm down, and its only kids. Yeah, pretty old kids.
Maybe I was a fool for ever playing that game. I assumed it was just a game, and someone was being silly about the Mafia on it. Later, I found a very professional looking website dedicated to The Sims Mafia. Dont enter here if youre under thirteen is a quote from it. Maxis is doing nothing whatsoever to stop these people, which is getting to be sickeningly obvious.
Im sure that if this story is ever widely promoted, people will join The Sims Online (TSO) after having read it. Its an extremely download, a free two week trial, $10 per month and bam, youre in it. News items like the War belittle this pretty much. But thats somebody elses problem. The Federal Bureau of Investigation should be looking into at least our nations video games. You can buy money on EBay to sell on that TSO game, kids are on that game, and they are being threatened into being recruited into the, I would assume, mostly swarthy white people Mafiaright nowsince they keep mentioning the Italian one so much
the real one or the virtual one?
Who knows?

The Barrows is a very popular, challenging and dangerous minigame in the massive online game called RuneScape. Many players make big money at the Barrows, but many – even the experienced Barrowers like myself – risk loosing millions worth of items due to bad luck or not being alert.
I am Barrowing a lot to get my mage and range levels to 99 (currently range 96, mage 97, combat 91). Barrowing is great mage training as the loots from the chest often provide me with the necessary runes to cast Magic Dart of Slayer (slayer lvl 55 required). I have so far done well over 100 runs in the Barrows, and have acquired more than 3000 boltracks and blood runes and about 8k chaos runes. I don’t keep count of gp or mind runes, but I am never out of stock of needed runes.
The most treasured loot I’ve gotten so far from The Barrows is:
* Torags Platebody
* 2 Guthans Helms (sold for 3.35 mill gp each =))
* Veracs Helm
* Veracs Brassard
* Veracs Plateskirt
* Karils Skirt.
Not to mention all the half keys – at least 4.
Most people pray Protection against melee attacks and thus don’t have to hide and run like I do, they just activate prayer and let their character autoattack with a magic spell they have set. So these players spend a lot of prayer potions to finish off the brothers in the crypts. When you enter one of the crypts (spade needed) your prayer will be drained by approximately 10 every 10 seconds or so. Without the sip of a prayer pot Barrows would be impossible to do except for those very high levelled accounts.
My way of barrowing is very risky but it saves me expenses on prayer potions. ceme online I have a moderately high combat lvl with 70 defense, but I only mage and range at Barrows as I have quit training melee altogether. Here is a simple description of how I do the Barrow runs.
I stock up with runes for entangle spells (79 magic required) and magic dart spells (55 slayer required). I don’t use pray on the melee brothers at all – I simply search their tomb and instantly entangle the brother that emerges. Then I run off a couple of squares and attack with magic dart. The tangle spell holds my foe to the spot for 15 seconds, enough time to cast 4 magic darts. Before the tangle spell breaks I run behind the tomb and waits 5 seconds before I repeat with a new entangle. After a hold spell has been cast and worn off, your enemy will be immune to any hold spells for 5 seconds! Therefore it is important to keep your distance from physical contact with the melee brothers if your prayer is off – their “embraces” aren’t exactly like the ones you get in momma’s arms =p
Finishing off the Melee brothers like I do is very risky. You must know how to hide behind the tombs the proper way. I use a technique that is similar to “side-stepping”, two of the corners of each tomb give this possibility. Side stepping is used by high levels that fight close up with the brothers – when they need to eat and regroup they have positioned themselves at a corner of the chest such that when they just move a step off from their foe which will be stuck on the corner of the tomb.
I keep getting questions and comments on why I don’t use Melee Prayer like everyone else. My initial thought was to save on prayer pots so I started using ancient magick. Again without praying melee. With my high magic level I can use Ice barrage – it holds the enemy for 20 seconds and deals massive damage. Ancient Magick turns out to be is very expensive, so I would start with an Ice Barrage and then continue my attacks with Ice Bursts. I made profit anyway (guess I was lucky with my lootings) – but I’d rather use my blood runes for some proper pk’ing.
After some experiments and testing I decided to continue with Modern Magic instead, and haven’t regretted since. The risk has increased, but it only makes it more entertaning. If I should die and loose my Ahrims mage outfit or Guthan helm – well I hope the finder will be happy =p. So far I have been lucky – yesterday I got Veracs Plateskirt! Now I only need Veracs Flail for a full Verac set.
Aaaa! – the satisfaction of picking up free stuff! This happened on the same day as I got Veracs Skirt!
I was in Dharoks tomb preparing to take him down – as always with butterflies in my stomach – killing Dharok without melee prayer on is VERY DANGEROUS (that guy can deal at least 58 damage in one hit when his health bar is close to zero).
Suddenly I see a player getting massive blows to his character, it happens so quick that he has no chance to escape. And voila! On the ground is the remains of this poor player – and what riches he dropped! I picked up: Obsidian Shield, Black mystic top and bottom, 200 rune arrows, Berserker helm, black ranger set and so on. My inventory was full of lobs and I unfortunately had to see some of the things this poor player dropped being picked up by others as I couldn’t gobble up them lobbies fast enough.
With a newly “looted” obby shield and a fresh Verac Plateskirt in inventory I decided to teleport to closest bank and have a break from the game. No need to test my luck further =P
Anyway – Dharok is still waiting for me at the Barrows.
10 reasons why online betting beats going down to the betting shop
Most people assumed that the internet would revolutionise the way we bet, just like the way it has revolutionised many other things in life. However, recent prevalence studies have proved that the number of people betting online is still not as popular as other forms of betting such as phone betting, going down the bookmaker and being at the track. So for those who haven’t quite worked out the benefits of wagering online instead of these alternatives, here 10 good reasons why you should be:
1) Free bets: Due to the amount of competition online, betting companies like to encourage you to join their service in the hope you form some sort of brand loyalty. To entice you they will regularly offer a free bet. This is normally in the form of a matched bet (You put in a certain amount and they will match that amount.) and will allow you to double your money, if not more. Around big betting events like the World Series and the Kentucky Derby these free bets usually quadruple, making them a very attractive incentive. When was the last time you walked into the betting shop and the lady behind the counter said; “Here, have $10 on us”. Most likely never!
2) Compare odds: There are many websites online that allow you compare odds on all sorts of bets from all manor of betting events. You will be amazed at how much odds can very from one bookmaker to another, and by using online odds comparison tools you can idn poker seek out the best odds. This kind of information is only available online, but is free to use. If you are sat in the bookmakers all day you will only get the odds available from that specific shop, which may be much shorter than they are elsewhere.
As time for outdoor leisure steadily shrinks with increasing working hours, the home computer has come to assume paramount importance. Although computer games have been popular almost ever since PCs became an essential part of homes around the world, it was the Internet, that saw the light of the day in the 90s, that actually metamorphosed gaming to an inconceivable level.
Becoming indispensable in almost all spheres, the Internet, apart from being an unbelievably huge pool of information, has also grown to become an important source of entertainment in the form of online casinos.
Card games may have been popular among computer users even before they heard the term Internet, but the latter brought with itself an almost magical betting experience called the online casino. Well, Internet users have been indulging themselves in gaming ever since the 90’s, the official online casino saw the light of the day in 1996, thanks to a law passed by Antigua and Barbados in 1994 that enabled them to issue gambling licenses.
Today, as you search the web and come across hundreds of online casinos boasting of numerous games, it is important that, in order to safeguard your cash and stay save yourself from being duped, you take a look at sites like the www.clubonlinecasino.com and check out the top online casinos that offer not just entertainment but also an excellent track record.
It is a misconception that the games offered at online casinos are drastically different from the card games we have enjoyed for so many years. Most of the online casino games are almost as simple or complicated as the games we play at offline casinos.
Take for example some of the popular games like –
1. Blackjack: You possibly can’t deny the popularity of this game the world over. Several online casinos including the very reliable ones you see at www.clubonlinecasino.com offer this game. If you are familiar with this game, you might be surprised to know that it is the most avoidable game by people who are unaware of its intricacies in Blackjack, you have to procure 21 points per head without exceeding the same number of points. It is important that the dealer stands on any total of 17 or more and hits on anything less. This game has been popular ever since it was introduced at online casinos and enjoys the same popularity ever since.
2. Roulette: This game may look confusing and intimidate a novice, but it really quite easy to play. Just read up some basics, try a reliable online casino and you’ll realize this yourself. It is said that this popular game was invented by French scientist Blaise Pascal in the year 1665. Ever since Roulette was conceived, there has not been much alteration in the wheel’s overall layout and table design.
Take a close look at the wheel, which you must have seen in so many films, and you will realize that every number and symbol is partitioned by metal separators, which when hit by a rolling ball gives the wheel an unpredictable and random motion. The numbers on the wheel are arranged in an attempt to alternate low, high or odd. When the ball comes to rest between the two of the metal separators, it marks the winning number or color. This game enjoys immense popularity both at offline and online casinos.
3. Online video poker: This term is commonly employed to refer to many similar games of poker played at online casinos with slightly differently rules and payoffs, but nevertheless, in the same fashion. The video poker you see on most online casinos is a fusion between contemporary slot machines and traditional poker. During the game, the machine will deal you a hand of five cards. You will have to decide which cards to keep or discard.
The main aim is to finish the game with the strongest hand possible. Many popular video poker games at different online casinos include: Deuces & Joker, Aces & Faces, Double Joker, Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Louisiana Double among others.
4. Online Keno: Reminiscent of the game of lottery, online Keno is a game of pure luck. In both the cases, you have to choose a variety of numbers, ceme online taking a chance that they would be picked in a draw. The kind of payoff depends on the numbers you get right. This is a fairly simple game where you don’ have to strain yourself with too many complicated rules. Point is, do you have the one essential thing needed to win- luck!
5. Online Bingo: Considering the fact that Bingo is a game of chance, there is little that players accessing online casinos can do to alter their luck. As compared to other games, Bingo is a relatively new one and traces its roots from old lotteries. It is said that a French person developed an alternate version of lotteries. Initially, there were horizontal rows and nine vertical rows with blank and numbered in random arrangements. The columns were broken into sets of ten numbers and all the way up to 90 in the last column. At that time, Bingo balls were chips, and pulled out of the sac by the caller. The first player to cover a horizontal row was declared the winner. Bingo is as popular in the cyberspace as it is in offline casinos.
6. Online horse race betting: This is no longer a privilege for the chosen few. Horse betting has been popular for a long time, but traditional betting on horses required you to be physically present in the stadium and stake your put your money on the horse of your choice. But thanks to the Internet and online casinos, you can now engage yourself in betting in virtually any major horse racing event in the world.
An online casino offers you not just the comfort of earning good money sitting at home but many of them also offer rich tips on the game.
So, are you game for some fun and cool bucks?
As of today, there are dozens of Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMOPRGs) slated for release or in beta. It is hard to decide on which online game to play. With all the competition, software companies need to come up with more creative ways of distinguishing themselves from each other and retaining their player base. After all the hype from the initial release of a game subsides, what keeps players engaged in the virtual world? For one thing, the game has to be fun and must continue to be fun. Beyond that, the players need to have a sense of ownership they need to have a tangible connection and personal investment in their online world. Online games are an extension of our real life. What keeps us happy in the real world will often translate to what keeps us happy in the virtual world of a game. We like to feel special and have the ability to express ourselves in our own unique way. We also enjoy the freedom to choose of what we do with our possessions and time.
Customizable Characters
One of the most important aspects of a game is being able to customize the in-game character. Having a unique avatar or graphical representation helps players stand out. It is a key element that defines the identity of a player. The latest online role-playing games let you tweak a multitude of physical including hair color and style, facial characteristics, height, weight, age, and gender. This lets players create a unique, one-of-a-kind avatar that defines them in the virtual world. As voice chat is becoming more common in online games, players are feeling a need to customize the sound of their voice. These gamers may have spent a long time customizing the look of their avatars, why not have voices to match? Voice-changing products like MorphVOX from Screaming Bee allow these players to have a unique voice that matches their in-game character, whether they choose to be a mighty giant or space adventurer. Opportunities to improve a characters abilities or skills are an important feature of an online game. Just as in real world, people like to have the option of changing their lot in life through self-improvement. Between gaining skills and leveling-up, their online character continues to grow and improve.
Possessions
Another way to customize character in game is providing a variety of clothing and possessions. Just as someone can look and dress a certain way in real life, their character in game should have the option to wear variety of clothes. Unique clothing combinations provide a form of self-expression, define your characters style and allow people to find you in a crowded tavern or spaceport. And depending ones mood, it is nice to have a variety of outfits to wear for in game hunts or special events. A game with variety of loot and goodies is a big draw for gamers. Much of the excitement and interest in online games stems from the opportunity to discover new and cool treasure. People will literally spend hours and days of their real life camping spots on the virtual world of a game to find the latest and greatest loot or treasure. Having a place to call home is no different in an online world. Players appreciate games that offer player housing. Customizable player housing can be so important that the people will continue to pay monthly fees for a game that theyve stopped playing in order to keep a house that they worked so hard to acquire. They may often trade property to other players for exorbitant virtual or real dollars.
Different Roles for Different Folks
Just as ceme online in real life, gamers need a purpose. After some time, all the leveling-up and acquiring new possessions can lose its luster. Online games offer professions, player driven economy, and guilds to provide players with roles and, moreover, a way of creating a virtual society. Interdependence on other players keeps people engaged in games because they have a tangible purpose or role in the virtual world. Some choose to be merchants who sell various goods, such as food, clothing, and weapons to other players. In return they barter for money or goods. Others can choose to be part of a guild, working for a common purpose or hunting together in larger groups. Online gamers will often form long-lasting friendships as a result of their time in these vibrant virtual societies. You may see the same players move from virtual world to virtual world as the latest online game is released. And in the real world, these same people will choose to spend time together and support each other in both good and bad times.
Going Beyond the Virtual World
The success of an online game in developing ownership can be measured by its ability to go beyond the confines of the virtual world into the personal life of a gamer. Online games havent isolated people as some people may argue. They instead have enriched the lives of the many players who have invested time and energy into these rich worlds.
